Laminated glass is shatterd proof glass that is highly safe and free from distortion. When it breaks there are no fragments dispersing or falling off.
Laminated contains one or more sheets of flexible, though and transparen polyvinyl film laminated between flat glasses. The polyvinyl film laminated between flat glasses. The polyvinyl acts as a bonding agent for keeping glass fragments glued to the film in case of breakage. The polyvinyl film is used is perfectly clear and free from any distortion. Lamisafe is the trademark for laminated glass produced by Asahimas Lamisafe safety glass is mainly used for windshield of automobile.

Laminating Process
1. Bending Process
One pair of glass is heated in the furnace by utilizing the bent mold.
2. Film Cutting Process
Raw material of the film is made of Polyvinyl Butryal (PVB film). The PVB film is cut into the required dimensions of the glass being produced, and then the PVB film is inserted between two sheets of glass.
3. Vacuuming Process
To remove the air between the two sheet glasses, an air vacuum pump is utilized, and to prevent it from re-shaping, the glass is heated at a certain temperature for certain duration. The glass produced by this Pre-Press is not yet transparent.
4. Autoclave Process
In this process, the glass is put in a chamber and pressurized at a certain level with certain temperature. This ensures the glass to become solid and transparent.
5. Final Process
After the autoclave process, the tint of the glass will be controlled again before the product is delivered to the warehouse.
