Application
If harmonics are present on the network it may be required by the application to connect reactors in series with capacitor. In that case, the reactor offers major advantages to the system, such as the protection of the capacitors against high  frequency currents.
Reactors are iron cored with copper or aluminium windings and copper terminals. Units are completely impregnated under vacuum and overpressure in a polyester resin  and dried in furnace. The reactors are designed for heavy industrial environments.
