The No Competitive Business Climate

In fact, its potential is huge, especially the tourism sector, health services, and aviation services. The business environment had become less attractive domestic and foreign investors. In addition, labor productivity is still low.

Indonesia should learn from Singapore, said the Advisory Board of Governors of Bank Indonesia research fields of international economic cooperation, Sjamsul Arifin, in Jakarta, Wednesday (16/02/2011).

Sjamsul Arifin said that Indonesia actually has a lot of factors of production, but not integrated well. He pointed out that Thailand was to integrate the benefits of tourism and health tourism.

Apart from Thailand, another country which could be a source of inspiration is Singapore. The country ranked first in the affairs of the business climate.

Business climate rankings are determined based on 10 indicators, such as the ease of taking care of permits, ease of obtaining credit, and ease of care of taxes. (kompas.com)
