Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak or NPWP (Taxpayer Identification Number), is an identification number used by the Directorate General of Taxation in the administration of tax laws. Since the Indonesian government kicked-off Sunset Policy to encourage tax compliance among its citizens in July 2008, applying for an NPWP is just as easy as applying for an identity card or any other documents.
